Only allow questions that are recognisable as such

Again and again we find that questions are asked that only consist two or three keywords. The more entries you have in the system in this way, the more difficult it is to find the content you are looking for. For this reason, our administrators adjust all questions that are not formulated as such.
We would appreciate it if a plausibility check could be integrated into the entry mask. This plausibility check verifies whether the question was formulated according to the W-question technique. If not, a pop-up appears with a corresponding note on why this is important. However, it should still be possible for the user to post his question so that he does not avoid the system. https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fragetechnik

Dear Philip, thank you for your suggestion! We're currently investigating if we can use LLM for it. If we have any updates on this, we will be happy to keep you posted! Thanks again and best regards, Serena

Building on Philip's comment to my Jan 10 post, what if users received a notification like "Your question has been edited by an Admin" and then there could be additional detail like "From time to time, a Starmind admin may modify question titles to improve system performance. If you would like to review or edit your question, click here." Another thought: maybe the user could see a before and after already within the notification... The point is to teach the right behavior to those who need to understand better why there is this requirement.

I'm having more and more this problem where users only input a few keywords. Any type of helpful roadblocks to prevent/help users and avoid this problem would be great.

Melissa Sauser: Hi Melissa. We can recommend Admins to directy correct this entries. In this way, we managed at GastroSocial to prevent other users to do the same. At the beginning we tried to tell the questioner to enter a real question, but found that they did not take the comments into account. For that reason, we have simply modified the questions as soon as we have seen them. We hope that Starmind will implement an improvement to prevent users to only input a few keywords.
